Webzenia · design system

Voice

Editorial, restrained, specific

The register for everything Webzenia publishes. Benchmarks: Apple for headlines, Stripe docs for body, Linear changelogs for openers, Vercel for technical claims. An agency, not a vendor — the prose reflects that.

The five qualities

All five must be present. A specific sentence that is also effusive has failed, not passed.

Specific

A number, a tool name, a city, a named industry, or a named outcome. If the sentence has none, it is filler.

Direct

The answer comes first. Framing and qualification come after. No throat-clearing.

Restrained

No effusion. No "passionate", no "thrilled", no exclamation marks outside UI microcopy.

Confident

Statements of fact, not claims requiring defence. "Webzenia builds X." Not "we strive to build X."

Indian-grounded

Rupees, Indian cities, Indian platforms (WhatsApp Business API, UPI, Zoho). Local proof, globally legible.

Write this, not that

don’t

In today’s fast-paced digital landscape, we leverage cutting-edge solutions.

do

We build the lead-routing dashboard. It cut response time from 6 hours to 90 seconds.

No AI throat-clearing, no empty intensifiers, no "solutions".
don’t

Our team of experts is passionate about delivering best-in-class results.

do

Webzenia ran the migration in 6 weeks — 3 weeks under the Zoho estimate.

Banned agency-speak → a specific, dated claim.
don’t

Affordable packages tailored to your unique needs.

do

Retainers from Rs. 1.5 lakh per month. Scope fixed in week one.

No budget signals; "package" → "retainer"; Indian numbering.
don’t

AI automation — the technology of the future.

do

AI automation that books 40% of demo calls without a human.

No em-dash after the opening phrase (an AI tell).

Punctuation & mechanics

British spelling

optimisation, behaviour, colour, centre, recognise

Currency (prose)

Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 2,50,000 — not ₹, not 250,000

Currency (glyph)

₹ reserved for tables, pull-stats, pricing UI

Multipliers

100x and 4.3x ROAS — not 100×, not "4.3 times"

Numerals

one–nine spelled; 10+ numeral; any measure is a numeral

Dates

14 March 2026 — not March 14, not 14/03/2026

Headings

Sentence case: "What the first 90 days look like."

Acronyms

SEO, AI, CRM, API, B2B, D2C — all caps; eCommerce

Separator

Interpunct · in eyebrows and meta, never in prose
